The last four Mission: Impossible flicks have ranged somewhere from good-to-great. This one is less satisfying, with too much exposition in the first act. It's certainly not bad, but it's overlong and something of a disappointment.

This is one of the most unusual movies of the year. I liked it.

This one starts out well, but in the last act, it turns cloyingly sentimental. It's disappointing.
